Household hazardous waste to be collected in Mount Dora
The Lake County Solid Waste Division is encouraging Lake County residents to dispose of toxic materials in a safe and environmentally sensitive way at an upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Collection event. The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 7 in the Walmart parking lot, at 17030 U.S. Highway 441, Mount Dora.

The Lake County Extension invites residents to attend a Fruit Pruning workshop to learn hands-on tips that will show proper pruning techniques and pruning equipment for grape vines and peach trees.
