CLERMONT — Lake County park rangers will lead a nature hike on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Palatlakaha River Park, located at 12325 Hull Road, Clermont.
“We’ll explore this secluded park partially set aside for management of Florida Scrub-Jays,” said Gallus Quigley, Lake County Park Ranger. “The trail loops though scrub, oak hammock, cypress and wetland habitats making it a great place to view wildlife.”
The 1-mile hike will be over semi-improved trails. Participants are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and hiking shoes. Reservations are required.
