TAVARES — The Lake County 4-H Program is proud to announce its livestock evaluation team recently placed first at the 2010 Florida State Fair.

The 4-H Livestock Judging Contest was held on Feb. 6 at the Lykes indoor arena In addition to just placing classes of cattle, hogs and sheep, the contest included evaluation of market steers and hogs. Participants were asked one set of questions on a breeding cattle class with performance data.
The team included seniors Karah Bradley, Jonathan Helms, Clay Cravey and Katie Story.
