CLERMONT — The Lake County Community Traffic Safety Team (CTST) is hosting the Third Annual Lake County Motorcycle Safety Fair on Saturday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the future site of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office substation in South Lake County, located at 15855 State Road 50, Clermont.
The message of this year’s Motorcycle Safety Fair is “wearing high visibility gear on the road just shows how bright you are.” The free event will feature safety-related information on motorcycle education, safety exhibits, free giveaways, free refreshments and a riding demonstration performed by the Orlando Harley-Davidson Drill Team.
“Stop by and learn about sharing the road with motorcycles and safe driving practices,” said Noble Olasimbo, Chairman of the Lake County CTST.
The Lake County CTST is a multi-jurisdictional agency comprised of individuals representing engineering, law enforcement, emergency services, traffic-safety education and concerned citizens. This multi-jurisdictional approach is used to solve roadway safety problems in Lake County, with cooperation between Lake County, local municipalities, other organizations and concerned citizens.
