TAVARES —The Chamber Alliance of Lake County will host its annual Lake County Days event on Tuesday, Feb. 22 and Wednesday, Feb. 23 at the state Capitol in Tallahassee.
The event begins Tuesday with an evening networking reception, followed by a legislative dinner, featuring Florida Sen. Don Gaetz as the keynote speaker.
Wednesday starts with a kick-off breakfast, followed by a tour of the House Chamber. Attendees will then be divided into advocacy groups to meet with legislators on the topics of: talent supply and education; innovation and economic development; infrastructure and growth; business climate and competitiveness; civic and governance; and quality of life and quality places.
After the advocacy meetings conclude, participants will regroup for a tour of the Senate Chamber followed by a wrap-up lunch to discuss feedback received from the meetings.

The bus will depart from Leesburg at 10 a.m. on Tuesday for the trip to Tallahassee and will leave for the return to Leesburg at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
