CLERMONT — Park Rangers with the Lake County Parks & Trails Division will conduct a nature hike on Saturday, March 12 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Palatlakaha River Park, located at 12325 Hull Road, Clermont.
This 1-mile hike will be over semi-improved trails, and will pass through a variety of habitats that should hold many resident and migrating birds, along with other wildlife, such as Gopher Tortoises, Black Racers and Marsh Rabbits.
Participants are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and hiking shoes. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
