CLERMONT — Park Rangers with the Lake County Parks & Trails Division will conduct a fall migration hike on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Palatlakaha River Park, located at 12325 Hull Road, Clermont.
During the 1-mile hike, participants will go searching for migrating songbirds, such as Tanagers and Wood Warblers, and will learn the basics on identifying birds by sight or sound.
Participants are encouraged to have their own binoculars and field guides, and to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and hiking shoes. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
