UMATILLA — The Umatilla Chamber of Commerce and Life Equipping Centers International, Inc. are hosting the Second Annual Fitness Fair and North Lake Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at North Lake Community Park, 40730 Roger Giles Road, Umatilla.
Lake County Commissioner Welton Cadwell and Pastor Brooks Braswell from the First Baptist of Umatilla will be in attendance to kick-off the free community event that includes health screenings, fitness demonstrations, face paintings, entertainment by Disney, games, prizes and giveaways. The opening ceremonies also features Umatilla High School’s Junior ROTC doing the presentation of the colors. Non-perishable food items will be collected at the event for donation to Umatilla food banks.
