TAVARES — The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Lake County Extension will be hosting a two-part workshop series entitled, “Retirement Planning for Any Age” on Tuesday, Nov. 8 & 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. The workshops will be held at the Lake County Agricultural Center, located at 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares.
The informative workshop will assist participants in setting goals and planning for future retirement. Some of the other topics that will be covered include:
- Determining sources of retirement income
- Finding money to save for retirement and other goals
- Taking the mystery out of investing
- Selecting a financial advisor
- Creating a practical plan to reach your financial goals
Participants should plan on attending both sessions. The series is free but pre-registration is required by Nov. 4. Class size is limited, so register early to reserve your place.
The workshops will be led by Julie England, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent with the UF/IFAS Lake County Extension.
