TAVARES — The Lake Soil & Water Conservation District (LSWCD) office will be relocating as of Nov. 1 to the Lake County Agricultural Center, located at 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares. The office hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The LSWCD assists property owners and agriculture producers with information on soil and irrigation water management, and in securing financial assistance through Farm Bill Programs to implement conservation practices.
The office also provides educational and outreach programs relating to conservation of natural resources, including the annual tree give-away, speech and poster contests, land judging and Envirothon competitions.
