CLERMONT – The Lake County Board of County Commissioners and the Department of Public Works have scheduled an informational meeting for Monday, March 19, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cooper Memorial Library auditorium, located at 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive in Clermont.
This meeting will cover matters pertaining to the North Hancock Road Corridor Traffic Safety Study, which begins at State Road 50 and ends north, at Turkey Farm Road. The purpose of this study is to review traffic safety throughout the corridor and operations at intersections along North Hancock Road.
Citizens will be updated on the data collected, road safety audit data and other roadway information, including concepts on aerial maps and graphical displays. Residents are encouraged to participate in the study, as Lake County officials and staff will be available to answer questions and receive feedback from citizens.
