TAVARES – As the Lake County Extension continues its “Make It and Taste It” series, residents are invited to attend a program entitled “Savory Summer Suppers” on Tuesday, June 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Monday, June 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Lake County Agriculture Center, located at 1951 Woodlea Road in Tavares.
During this program, participants will learn easy-to-prepare meal ideas using tasty seasonal foods that will limit the time they spend in the kitchen. Participants will also be able to sample the dishes that they prepare. The fee for the program is $12 (materials + administrative fee) and pre-registration is required, as space is limited.
