Educational hike planned for Lake May Reserve will highlight restoration efforts

RELEASE DATE: July 24, 2012

EUSTIS – The Lake County Parks & Trails Division is inviting residents to take part in an educational hike through Lake May Reserve, located on County Road 44A in Eustis (GPS location: 28.87239, -81.62960). The hike will take place on Saturday, July 28 from 8 to 10 a.m.

The purpose of this excursion is to help residents gain a better understanding of the ongoing land restoration initiatives that are underway at the site. 

The event is free, and would-be participants are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and hiking shoes. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
