TAVARES — The Lake County Extension invites residents to attend a Fruit Pruning workshop to learn hands-on tips that will show proper pruning techniques and pruning equipment for grape vines and peach trees. The free educational program will take place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at the Lake County Extension, Agricultural Center at 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares.

The Lake County Extension provides research-based information and educational program cooperatively with the Lake County Board of County Commissioners and the University of Florida for all aspects of horticulture, agriculture, food safety, the home environment, financial management and 4-H youth programs.
