TAVARES — Commissioner Sean Parks, from Lake County District 2, will appear at two events during May, where he and other officials will discuss matters that are relevant to citizens.
“District 2 is working hard to address issues that affect the lives of its citizens,” said Commissioner Parks. “These open sessions are intended not only for us as officials to be transparent in our conversations, but also allow interested citizens the opportunity to weigh in.”
• Coffee & Conversations
8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2
Green Mountain Deli, 17415 Seventh St., Montverde
Commissioner Parks and Lake County School Board Member Tod Howard, District 3, will host a meeting with constituents in South Lake County. With no set agenda or scheduled appointments, the monthly “Coffee & Conversations” are intended to be informal.
• Mayor’s Forum
2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8
Clermont City Hall, 685 W. Montrose St., Clermont
Commissioner Parks, municipal officials and other business leaders will discuss how the county and cities within the county may collaborate better to serve residents, on issues including transportation impact fees.
