TAVARES — Lake County has partnered with Lake-Sumter State College’s television station, Lake Sumter TV (LSTV), to more frequently broadcast recordings of the regularly scheduled meetings of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners. Meetings may be viewed at 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, and 6 a.m. Sundays, on Comcast channel 13 and Bright House channel 199.
The meetings will air for two weeks following the board meeting, or until the next meeting is conducted.
LSTV is operated by Hometown Health TV, LLC, and is funded in-part by the Lake County Board of County Commissioners and Lake-Sumter State College.
“We are pleased to have increased the exposure of these meetings to help better inform our community,” said Marc Robertz-Schwartz, president of Hometown Health TV, LLC.
All meetings of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners that take place in the Board Chambers, 315 W. Main St., Tavares, are streamed live on the county’s website at http://lakecountyfl.suiteonemedia.com/web/home.aspx.
