EUSTIS – Lake County park rangers are inviting residents to celebrate Earth Day by helping plant flowers and cleanup debris from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at Marsh Park & Boat Ramp, 36545 Yale Retreat Road, Eustis.
Garbage bags, trash pickers and rubber gloves will be provided.
At 35 acres, Marsh Park offers boaters access to Lake Yale for great bass fishing or a relaxing day on the water. The park has a five-acre restoration area that has native wildflowers and Pond Pines that were planted on Earth Day 2007 to provide additional habitat to the many birds, butterflies, reptiles and mammals that live or feed in the park.
For more information about upcoming events and to register for the cleanup, call the Lake County Parks & Trails Division at 352-253-4950, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.lakecountyfl.gov/parks.
