TAVARES — The Lake County 4-H Program will host a peanut butter drive at local Publix Super Markets on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate National Make a Difference Day.
Local 4-H youth will collect peanut butter during the day for Second Harvest Food Bank. Second Harvest Food Bank and area Publix Super Markets have partnered with the 4-H District 8, which includes the counties of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia, to alleviate the urgent problem of hunger among Central Florida residents.
