EUSTIS – Residents searching for the perfect, one-of-a-kind gift need to look no further than the Lake County Farmers’ and Flea Market, located at the Lake County Expo Center/Fairgrounds at 2101 County Road 452, Eustis.
“Our vendors sell everything including local produce, plants, honey, baked goods, antiques, collectables, crafts, books, electronics, games, movies, housewares, clothing, musical instruments and much more,” said Expo Center/Fairgrounds Program Manager Cole Scharlau. “If you’re looking for it, chances are someone at the market sells it.”
For those considering doing some shopping at the indoor/outdoor market, hours are changing during the holiday season. Because Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day all fall on Thursdays this year, the day the market is normally held will shift to Tuesdays during those weeks.
Below is the new schedule:
• Open Tuesday, Nov. 25, closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 27
• Open Tuesday, Dec. 23, closed on Christmas, Thursday, Dec. 25
• Open Tuesday, Dec. 30, closed on New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1
The market is open during the winter months from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. It features over 200 vendors and boasts an estimated 20,000 visitors during the peak season when snowbirds trek to the area.
