TAVARES — The Lake County Department of Public Works is holding a public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the W. T. Bland Public Library, located at 1995 N. Donnelly St. in Mount Dora, to discuss transportation improvements on Old Highway 441 at Lakeshore Drive.
At the public meeting, representatives from the Department of Public Works and the transportation consulting firm of Tindale-Oliver & Associates Inc. will provide information and answer questions about several different design scenarios that aim to improve traffic safety and reduce congestion at this intersection. This informal meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to help identify issues, to ask questions of the design team and to submit comments about the potential alternatives.
