HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS – Lake County Commissioner Leslie Campione will be honored at the Annual Boy Scouts Golden Eagle Dinner to be held at 6 p.m. March 12 at Mission Inn Resort & Club, 10400 County Road 48, Howey-in-the-Hills.
“I am honored to be recognized at this worthwhile event, which seeks to raise funds for our dedicated local Boy Scouts,” said Commissioner Campione. “But most importantly, this is a great opportunity to let the community know about the life skills our scouts are learning and how these promising young men will contribute to Lake County’s future.”
The Golden Eagle Dinner brings together civic and business leaders each year to honor an outstanding member of our community while highlighting the positive impact of Boy Scouts in Lake County.
Guests are invited to enjoy a fun-filled and entertaining presentation along with food and drinks in a philanthropic setting. All proceeds benefit the Boy Scouts of America and particularly the youth programs the organization provides in Lake County.
The event will be co-chaired by Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks and Lake County Property Appraiser Carey Baker.
The Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s leading outdoor education and character development program. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices during their lives by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
