CLERMONT — The South Lake Regional Water Initiative is holding a meeting to discuss the water conservation strategies recommended by the Central Florida Water Initiative on Monday, Sept. 28 from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Clermont City Center, Room C, located at 620 W. Montrose St., Clermont.
The meeting will include a panel of local experts to offer their input on the possibility of implementing these recommendations in South Lake County, as well as any other ideas offered by the panel or public.

The South Lake Regional Water Initiative is a cooperative of the South Lake municipalities, Lake County and Lake Utilities, Inc. formed to jointly address future water needs in South Lake County. The group was formed, in part, to ensure the area’s joint needs are adequately represented at the regional level and is working together to ensure adequate water supply to preserve the quality of life and economic opportunity in South Lake.
