GROVELAND — The Lake County Parks & Trails Division, along with the county’s consultant, GAI-Community Solutions Group, Inc., will present conceptual plans for the future South Lake Regional Park on Wednesday, April 20 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the E.L. Puryear Building, 243 S. Lake Ave., Groveland.
The purpose of the presentation is to share information about the recreational amenities planned for development at the site with the public, specifically local residents, community leaders, South Lake municipalities and sports organizations.
Because South Lake County is an area that has been identified in the county’s parks master plan as needing additional active recreation amenities, Lake County previously held meetings to encourage and obtain public input about the community’s vision for the park.
Persons with disabilities who need assistance to participate in the meeting should contact the Parks & Trails Division at 352-253-4950 at least eight hours in advance of the scheduled meeting.
