A tree went down on an unoccupied home on the 400 block of Sunrise Lane at the Sunshine Mobile Home Park in Lady Lake. No injuries were reported.

VOLUNTARY EVACUATION ORDER

Lake County issued a voluntary evacuation order at 12:30 p.m. Thursday due to flooding predicted in Astor along the St. Johns River.  The National Weather Service forecast today that water levels will rise to 3.5 feet, about one foot lower that previously predicted, but about 7 inches above normal flood levels.

NO CURFEW

Lake County has not issued a curfew, restrictions, or special requirement for driving during the storm. However, motorists should exercise caution and stay off the roads during the storm due to the likelihood of downed power lines or trees. Never drive on flooded roadways.
