County seeks citizen input about improving Pine Forest Park

RELEASE DATE: April 23, 2007

TAVARES — The Lake County Department of Public Works, Parks & Trails Division, is hosting a public meeting on Monday, April 30, at 6 p.m. at Pine Forest Park, located at 32520 State Road 44, in east Lake County, to discuss future improvements to 48-acre park.

The meeting will determine the needs of the community for development of the Lake County park. Park improvements could include sport fields and trails as well as traditional park amenities such as larger picnic and playground areas.

“We’re excited about having the input of the community on how future improvements at this park should be designed,” said Bobby Bonilla, Director of the Parks & Trails Division.

For more information, call Parks & Trails at (352) 742-0992.
