TAVARES — The Lake County Extension Office is offering three separate, two-part educational series to help participants understand their finances and develop plans to secure their financial futures from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on:
• Aug. 21 and 28 at the Lake County Agricultural Center, 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares
• Oct. 2 and 9 at the Lake County Agricultural Center
• Nov. 13 and 20 at the Lake County Agricultural Center
Topics included in the series are setting financial goals, reducing debt, identifying leaks in spending, developing a spending plan and understanding credit and credit scores. Julie England, a Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent with the Lake County Extension Office, presents the program.
