TAVARES — The Lake County Green Team is waiving fees for exhibitor booths for its first-ever Lake County Green Fair, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wooton Park, located at 200 S. Rockingham Ave. in Tavares.
“So far, we’ve had interest from a number of sponsors and are continuing to seek out additional sponsorships,” said Amye King, Director of the Lake County Department of Growth Management. “With our sponsors’ generous support we are able to waive vendor fees to help promote maximum participation for this exciting event.”
The Green Fair will present educational programs and informative displays that highlight best practices in environmental issues. The Green Fair will provide an opportunity to sponsors and exhibitors to promote sustainable products and services to an audience that is interested in leading a greener lifestyle.
The Lake County Green Team is currently accepting exhibitor applications for the Green Fair. Lake County is seeking exhibitors who can offer sustainable choices or information about reducing adverse environmental impacts in several categories, including transportation, health, energy, residential construction, landscaping, recreation and household products. There is no cost to participate.
