During this time when residents are utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect themselves from COVID-19, Keep Lake Beautiful would like to remind everyone to also protect our environment from PPE litter by properly disposing of these items.

All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector and the Lake County Extension Center will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

food and shelter programs
Qualifying emergency food and shelter programs run by local service agencies are urged to apply for $292,710 in federal funds awarded to Lake County through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Federal Emergency Management Agency under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program.
