Tavares – Visit Lake and Lake County’s Office of Communications accepted four SunSational Awards at the Florida Festivals & Events Association (FFEA) Convention & Tradeshow this week. FFEA celebrates the accomplishments of its members by recognizing innovation, individuality and creative collaboration.
Of more than 500 overall tourism marketing submissions, the Lake County team won accolades for the Lake County Fairgrounds website, the Hickory Point ribbon cutting event, the Visit Lake Instagram and the LakeBigBass branded promotional hats.
“We are honored that once again, our in-house marketing work promoting Lake County across multiple platforms including, web, social media, graphic design and event planning, has been recognized by our peers,” said Kathy Pagan, Associate Director of the Office of Visit Lake. “These efforts help highlight the county’s robust tourism industry and the unique destinations that make us ‘Real Florida. Real Close.’”
