Q. Can I pay for my building permit online?
A. Yes. We are now accepting credit card payments of building permits online through our web site.
Q. How do I pay for my building permit online?
A. The first step is to fill out a building permit application through our Apply for Buiding Permits page. Once you have filled out this application please allow 1 business day for a permitting specialist to review your application. Once they have reviewed your application and it has been approved, you will have the ability to pay for your permit online. Simply go the Access Building Permits page and login with your permit number and valid number. From that page you will see a new section labeled Fees. Once your permit is in the “Ready” status, you will see an option to pay for the permit within the new Fees section. There are also instructions located on the Access Building Permit page to help you through the process of paying for the permit online.
Q. What credit cards do you support?
A. We currently accept both Visa and Mastercard.
Q. What is an admin fee? I see it listed under the Fees section.
A. The admin fee is a 1% fee that is applied to all permits that are paid for with a credit card. This is a fee to cover the additional cost of being able to accept credit card payments.
Q. Can I print out my inspection card after I have paid for my permit?
A. Yes, under the Reports section of the Access Building Permits page, you will see a link for the Inspection Job Card. You can print that out from our web site.
