The Lake County Office of Fire Rescue's Administration Office is responsible for the day-to-day activities that support the operation. These responsibilities include budget preparation and control, capital purchases, career development training, communications support, public education, logistics, personnel equipment allotment, and facilities maintenance.
Administration provides support for the agency’s telecommunications systems. This coordination includes liaison duties with emergency dispatch services from Lake Emergency Medical Services.
Training Bureau (Professional Fire/Rescue/EMS Career Development)
The Training Bureau falls under the direction of a captain who oversees Fire/Rescue/EMS and career development activities. The Bureau routinely schedules and coordinates all Fire/Rescue/EMS training activities, drills, scenario exercises, recruit indoctrination, and insures that all training remains compliant with most current industry standards, state laws and rules.
The EMS Bureau falls under the authority of an assigned Battalion Cheif. The Bureau oversees and manages medical inventory and supplies, the quality improvement process, and serves as the liaison between the Department and the County Medical Director.
Public Fire Safety Education (Community Outreach)

Administration provides logistical support for personnel through the purchase of uniforms, equipment, and fire station supplies.Supply responsibilities include procurement, warehousing, inventory and control, and product delivery to end-users. Logistics also provides oversight and support for the proper accountability of all public assets assigned to the Office of Fire Rescue, including support, and facilitation of essential maintenance schedules and tasks at all Fire Rescue facilities.
