Information Technology - Service Desk

The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide technical support and assistance for various IT functions. The position is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, transportation of computer hardware and equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing related technical and clerical duties as required and providing professional and courteous customer service at all times. The position works under general supervision according to some procedures; decides how and when to complete tasks.
May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires on e year of college or vocational school education in computer technology, network administration, information systems management or a closely related field with one year of related experience.
May require a valid Florida driver’s license.
