Employee of the Quarter - 4th Quarter 2014
Adam Bourne, GIS Administrator,
Posted: December 03, 2014
During the last quarter, Adam assumed many of the additional duties of a vacated GIS Programmer Coordinator position including maintaining the data within the GIS database, serving all of the GIS functions in the county, including interactive web maps which receive over 20,000 users every month. Adam has done an excellent job, going above and beyond, with the new GIS responsibilities--even implementing improvements to the system. Adam added new 2014 aerial imagery to the GIS system, important to many employees and citizens for their job functions and setup the Code-Stat application to a server environment which is used by Fire Rescue, enhancing database performance and resolving data import problems. Additionally for Public Safety, Adam worked to setup VineLight which helps Fire Rescue view data from multiple systems in one location. The effort and dedication Adam exhibits daily is recognized and appreciated by our employees and citizens.
