Project Title: Citrus Grove Road

Project Description: This project is located in Minneola and shall consist of constructing a new 4-lane highway extending from existing Citrus Grove Road to newly constructed North Hancock Road. Other work associated with this project includes the following: storm pipe and structure installation, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, 12’ asphalt multi-use trail, retention pond excavation, milling, paving, sod, and other miscellaneous incidental construction. The engineer’s estimate is $7,200,000.00. Through an Economic Development Transportation Fund Agreement (EDTF) (FPN #435541-1-54-01), the Florida Department of Transportation will be funding a portion of the project’s construction cost.
Also, as part of this project, Lake County has entered into an interlocal agreement with the City of Minneola for the relocation of the City of Minneola utilities. Bidders shall be required to provide an alternate bid for this work for the bid to be considered complete. Engineer’s estimate for this alternate bid is $635,817.60.
Preconference: A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on April 11, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lake County Emergency Communications and Operations Center (ECOC), 425 West Alfred Street, Tavares, Florida.

Submitting a Downloaded Bid Request
After downloading and completing the solicitation document(s), submit the original and the required number of copies in a sealed, envelope/package to the Office of Procurement Services. The envelope must include the project number, the closing date, and the proposer's name and address. A proposal submitted by telephone, fax or electronically will not be considered for award. The proposal package must be received and time-stamped in the Office of Procurement Services on or before the closing date and time.
