Project Title: Firefighter Bunker Gear

Project Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a term and supply agreement for the purchase of firefighter bunker gear for use by firefighters within the County’s Public Safety Department, specifically the Honeywell First Responder Morning Pride brand. The initial purchase will be for forty-two (42) sets of bunker gear. The Lake County Board of County Commissioners previously approved standardization of the Morning Pride brand and no substitutions will be accepted or considered. It is expected that this will be an initial one-year contract with four one-year renewal options possible. The County expects to purchase a total of one hundred eighty-four (184) sets of gear over the five years, including the initial purchase of forty-two (42) sets. The County reserves the right to increase or decrease the actual quantity of bunker gear sets purchased.

Submitting a Downloaded Bid Request
After downloading and completing the solicitation document(s), submit the original and the required number of copies in a sealed, envelope/package to the Office of Procurement Services. The envelope must include the project number, the closing date, and the proposer's name and address. A proposal submitted by telephone, fax or electronically will not be considered for award. The proposal package must be received and time-stamped in the Office of Procurement Services on or before the closing date and time.
