Project Description: The County Road 466A Phase IIIA project is located in Fruitland Park and shall consist of constructing and widening CR 466A to a four-lane urban designed roadway with curb and gutter, 4’ paved shoulders, and sidewalks. This project is a continuation of a recently completed portion of CR 466A. Other work associated with this project shall include: storm pipe and structure installation, retention pond excavation, swale and ditch construction, gravity wall installation, upgrading an existing traffic signal, installing conduit, pull boxes, pull string, and tracer wire, thermoplastic striping, sodding, and other miscellaneous construction. A portion of the construction will be funded by the Florida Department of Transportation through an Economic Development Transportation Project Agreement. The awarded contractor shall be required to meet all State and Federal guidelines. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $3,226,975.27.
Preconference: A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on March 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lake County Emergency Communications and Operations Center (ECOC), 425 West Alfred Street, Tavares, Florida.

Submitting a Downloaded Bid Request
After downloading and completing the solicitation document(s), submit the original and the required number of copies in a sealed, envelope/package to the Office of Procurement Services. The envelope must include the project number, the closing date, and the proposer's name and address. A proposal submitted by telephone, fax or electronically will not be considered for award. The proposal package must be received and time-stamped in the Office of Procurement Services on or before the closing date and time.
